Fertigs center offers hayrides Oct. 14-15

The Fertigs Community Center will hold its annual fall family hayride Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14-15.

Non-scary rides for younger children will begin at 6 p.m., and haunted hayrides will start at 7 p.m.

The center’s kitchen will be open with a variety of food for sale at the windows, and homemade cider will be available to purchase.

Photo-taking will be offered for individuals or family groups by donation. Carving pumpkins will also be available by donation.

Free marshmallows will be provided for a bonfire. Attendees are encouraged to take a flashlight and camp chair, if desired.

There is no admission charge, and the hayrides are free.

The Fertigs Community Center is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization and is located at 4887 Camp Coffman Road, a half-mile south of the Fertigs crossroads.
