OC man facing numerous drug charges

An Oil City man was arraigned Thursday on drug charges in connection with an incident in Franklin in which he was found with drugs after a traffic stop.

Franklin police said in a criminal complaint that Brandon White, 35, was the passenger in a vehicle that was pulled over on April 7.

Police said White was found to be in possession of a glass smoking device with suspected methamphetamine inside, 21 used hypodermic needles, four red “snorting” straws, eight “stamp” bags, a vial and a container of filtration filters, 12.23 grams of suspected fentanyl/heroin, a broken spoon with white residue, a digital scale with residue and a knife.

He was charged with a felony count of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, 40 misdemeanor counts of use/possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance, and a misdemeanor count of make repairs/ sell/ etc. of offensive weapon.

He was placed in the Venango County jail Thursday after being unable to post $10,000 monetary bail.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Wednesday in Central Court.
