Oil City YWCA playground program to begin June 12

From staff reports

The Oil City YWCA is hosting the Oil City area’s annual summer playground program that will run from June 12 to July 14.

Activities will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays through Fridays during that five-week period and will take place at the Harriott Avenue, Innis Street, Reno and Rouseville playgrounds as well as Hasson Park.

The program is open to children ages 5 to 12. There is no cost to attend.

The playground program is an opportunity for children to get together and play over the summer with their friends.

There will be games, STEM activities, arts and crafts, box hockey and more.

All summer playground staff have current clearances and are CPR trained.
