Oil Valley Film Festival to be held digitally this year

From staff reports

The Oil Valley Film Festival held annually in Oil City will take place digitally this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, according to festival director Matt Croyle.

The dates of the online streaming format are being adjusted to ensure there is ample time to secure a partnering platform that best fits the festival’s presentation model, Croyle said in a news release.

“The festival is happening. Just not in a way we’re used to,” Croyle said. “We’ve been bringing films from around the world to Venango County for five years now, and it’s important we continue to do just that.”

More information and specific dates and times for the online version of the festival will be released soon, Croyle said.
