The Drake Well Marathon will take place Sunday, Aug. 14.
The race — a qualifier for the Boston Marathon — will feature a mostly shaded course traveling through the main streets of Titusville and along Oil Creek.
New this year, in addition to the full and half marathon, is that runners can purchase a virtual race ticket.
Virtual runners must complete their race in one run between Aug. 1-13 and send their GPS information to the race director to be eligible to receive a virtual finisher’s medal by mail.
Registration is open and can be found by visiting www.drakewell.org/events/marathon.
The marathon is a fundraiser for the Friends of Drake Well, a nonprofit group that supports Drake Well Museum and Park.
