Clarion County PennDOT seeks student summer workers

Pennsylvania Department of Transportation District 10, which covers Clarion County, is seeking college students for employment during the summer months.

Student summer workers assist in seasonal maintenance work on state-maintained roads and bridges under the direct oversight of a field supervisor. Maintenance of facilities, including mowing, debris removal and general maintenance may also be considered. Many students also perform labor and flag duties.

The hourly pay rate for student summer workers is $17.38.

Qualified candidates must be a Pennsylvania resident or currently enrolled full time or part time in a two-year degree, bachelor’s degree, or advance program at a Pennsylvania college or university; must be in good academic standing (as defined by a GPA of 2.0 or higher); and must be at least age 18.

The position requires verification of a valid Pennsylvania Class C driver’s license.
