The Venango County Fair begins today, and here is the schedule of events today and Sunday:
Today
Pick up entry tags and numbers at the fair office.
8 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Animal entries arrival.
9 a.m. – Jeep Invasion – all day
11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. – Bear Hollow Wood Carving Show – Top of the Hill
Noon to 3 p.m. – Registration rabbits/poultry and all other exhibits
4 p.m. – Barnyard Olympics – nail driving – Log Cabin
Fairgrounds close at 11 p.m.
Sunday
Pick up entry tags and numbers at the fair office.
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Animal entries arrive through back entrance.
10 a.m. – Worship service – Log Cabin
11 a.m. – Mega Trucks
11 a.m. – Mini-horse pulls – Main Stage/Pulling Track
Noon to 5 p.m. – Registration of rabbits/poultry and all other exhibits
Noon, 2 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. – Bear Hollow Wood Carving Show – Top of the Hill
1 p.m. – Barnyard Olympics – hay bale throwing contest – Phillips Arena
5:30 p.m. – All 4-H animal exhibitors meeting – Phillips Arena
6 p.m. – Market animals weigh-ins – Barns
