No injuries, minimal damage to home in OC crash

No one was injured in a crash Friday night that resulted in a car striking a gas meter along Plummer Street.

Oil City police said a Hyundai Sante Fe was traveling down Pearl Avenue just before 9 p.m. Friday when the driver lost control due to the icy road conditions.

The vehicle slid across Plummer Street over an embankment and into a house in the 100 block of Plummer Street.

National Fuel was called in to repair a gas leak caused by the accident and the vehicle was towed.

Oil City fire chief Steve Hinds said there is minimal to no damage to the home.

No other information about the crash was provided by Oil City police.
