No one injured in OC rollover

No one was injured following a one-vehicle crash on West Second Street on Tuesday afternoon in Oil City.

No one was injured in a one-vehicle rollover on West Second Street Tuesday afternoon in Oil City that resulted in the driver being taken into custody.

The driver of a vehicle was heading west on West Second Street traveling from Central Avenue towards Petroleum Street at around 1:18 p.m. when his vehicle struck a tree and a telephone pole and overturned onto the driver’s side, Oil City Police Chief Cory Ruditis said.

The vehicle came to rest in the middle of West Second Street shortly before the intersection of West Second Street and Petroleum Street. The driver refused medical attention and was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, according to Ruditis.

Venango County 911 said the crash was cleared about 1:50 p.m., and the Oil City Police Department, Oil City Fire Department and Community Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
