A teenage girl who was reported missing from an Emlenton residence has been found and is safe, according to Franklin state police.
The girl was identified by police as 17-year-old Dianna Joanna McCracken.
“After a thorough all-day investigation by the PSP Franklin Criminal Investigation Unit, the missing juvenile was safely located in Forest County” at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
She had been reported missing late Monday afternoon, police previously said, after she “left her temporary residence” at 213 Main St., Apt. D, in Emlenton Borough, and headed “in an unknown direction.”
