United Way of Venango County receives donation

The United Way of Venango County received a $6,300 donation from Farmers National Bank of Emlenton. The donation was in support of the United Way’s annual fundraising campaign.

“The bank has matched the total donations gathered by employees as a gift to the Venango County United Way general impact fund so that its leadership can align the resources with the needs of the community members,” said William C. Marsh, chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer of Farmers National Bank.

Accepting the donation on behalf of the United Way of Venango County was executive director Will Price. Representing the bank during the check presentation were Ashley McCauley, branch manager of the Seneca office, and John Stiller, vice president, commercial loan officer.

The employees of Farmers National Bank may contribute toward the campaign through payroll deduction. Since the start of the program in 2010, employees have contributed over $32,000 to the United Way.
