2 Franklin residents charged in domestic dispute

From staff reports

Two Franklin residents are facing charges in connection with a domestic dispute on Christmas Day.

Franklin police said in a criminal complaint they were called to the 800 block of Liberty Street in Franklin shortly before noon on Christmas morning.

The complaint said that when police arrived, they located Trey A. Corbett, 23, on the front porch of the house, while his girlfriend, Jaedan M. Bosley, 21, was inside.

Corbett told police he and Bosley had gotten into a verbal argument, and he said he became angry and punched a television, which was then pushed into an adjacent window, causing both the TV and window to break, the complaint said.

Corbett said that after he punched the TV, Bosley slapped his back and he pushed her away from him, according to the complaint.

Corbett said he was also struck multiple times in the face by Bosley and that he punched a wall in the hallway at some point in the dispute, according to the complaint.

Bosley told police Corbett shoved her after punching the television, causing her to trip and hit her head, the complaint said.

Neighbors told police that, upon hearing the yelling and the window breaking, they became concerned for the safety of Bosley and Corbett as well as a young child in the residence, according to the complaint.

Bosley and Corbett had already been issued verbal warnings for disorderly conduct by the police on three occasions, the complaint said.

They were both charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct, and their preliminary hearings are scheduled Jan. 24 in Venango County Central Court.
