Four people were injured in this two-vehicle crash late Thursday morning at the intersection of Pittsburgh Road and Polk Cutoff in Sandycreek Township.

Franklin state police said 49-year-old Richard Huber of Oil City was stopped on Polk Cutoff shortly after 11 a.m. when he saw a vehicle with its turn signal on, but he didn’t realize there was a second vehicle behind the first vehicle.

When Huber pulled out, he went directly into the path of a vehicle driven by 35-year-old Brandi Miller of Kennerdell, police said.

Huber and one of two passengers in Miller’s vehicle were flown to UPMC Hamot in Erie for treatment of their injuries, police said.

Miller and the second passenger in her vehicle were taken to Grove City Medical Center by Community Ambulance Service.

Police did not release the names of the two passengers in Miller’s vehicle.

Sandycreek volunteer firefighters assisted at the scene.
