Franklin state police are investigating a burglary that took place Friday morning at a residence on Millbrook Road in Irwin Township. Police said the thief entered the home between 7:30 and 10 a.m. and stole prescription drugs and jewelry before fleeing the scene through the basement. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 676-6596. Police are also asking homeowners to lock their doors and vehicles whenever leaving, and to report any suspicious activity to them.
