CATA seeks public input on possible OC-Titusville route

From staff reports

CATA is gathering input regarding public interest in developing and maintaining a round-trip bus route from Titusville to Oil City, according to a CATA news release. Surveys will be accepted until Jan 1.

Responses, CATA said, will help the Crawford Area Transportation Authority develop a route that will best service these communities.

If a route between Titusville and Oil City is developed, the start and end points would be the Titusville Save-a-Lot/Drake Mall location and Clifford Street in Oil City, where a passenger can connect to the Venango County Fixed Route buses, according to the release.

The survey is available online, in print copies or by request.

The public is encouraged to visit CATA’s website — www.catabus.org — where at the top of the home page there is a red notification bar with a link that goes directly to the online survey.

Hard copy surveys are available on the fixed route buses in Venango County, the CATA Go vans in Titusville, or by calling Charlotte Giovannelli, marketing outreach coordinator, at (814) 336-5600, Ext. 116.
