Mary and Manuel Nazario saw that Gahr’s Excavating were beginning to tear down Dandy’s Frontier Family Fun Park on Route 322 in Cranberry and asked if they could have the little house and bridges for their goats. “They love to climb on things,” said Mary Nazario as she and her husband dismantled the structures to take about a mile down the road to their home. Leo Gahr said the former miniature golf course would be leveled and seeded for grass in order to open up the view of El Toro restaurant for now. He said he hopes to be finished with the project by the end of the week. Dandy’s hasn’t been open in several years. (By Richard Sayer)
