Drake Well expands library pass program

From staff reports

Drake Well Museum and Park has expanded its library pass program to include Meadville Public Library.

The museum created the program in 2022, when it partnered with the Oil Region Library Association (Oil City, Franklin and Cooperstown) and Benson Memorial Library in Titusville.

The program provides free family museum passes to participating libraries, which can then loan them to card-holding patrons. Each pass allows free admission for all members of one household to Drake Well Museum and Park.

The goal of the program is to increase Drake Well’s engagement with local communities, the museum and park said in a news release. The program has been successful with the Oil City, Franklin, Cooperstown and Titusville libraries.

Meadville Public Library cardholders interested in the program should contact the library for details about reserving a pass. Cardholders from other participating libraries may contact those institutions for more information as well.
