DukeFest to be held September 10th

DukeFest, the fifth annual dog walk that benefits local non-profit animal rescue and response groups, will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, in Bandstand Park in Franklin.  Admission is free.  The activities will begin at 11 a.m. and end after the Blessing of the Animals at 4 p.m.  There will be music, games for dogs and people, food, raffle baskets, craft and educational vendors, Paw Painting, Pet Photography and the PawPort Game with prizes.  New this year is the Rally For Rescue — a fun “navigation course” game for people and dogs.  The Blessing of the Animals will be held at noon and 4 p.m. and the Muttrimony Celebration at 1 p.m.  More information can be found on the DukeFest Dog Walk Facebook page.
