FHS Equations team wins first place

A team of students from Franklin High School won first place at an Equations tournament held Wednesday at Slippery Rock University. The team inludes, from left, Carly Calderone, David Ferraro, Logan Burchfield, Tyler Wood and Chris Bullard. Based on their individual scores, Calderone, Ferraro, Wood and Bullard qualified for the National Academic Games Tournament to be held in April at Atlanta.
