A shed and 20-foot mobile home were a total loss after a fire Monday afternoon in Clinton Township.

Clintonville deputy fire chief Grant Rea said the cause of the blaze at 4338 Route 208 is being investigated by a state police fire marshal.

Clintonville firefighters were dispatched at about 2:32 p.m. Monday for a report of a shed fire near a mobile home.

“We arrived and found a 30-by-30 garage fully engulfed and it also extended into the 20-foot mobile home attached to the garage,” Rea said. “They used the mobile home as a storage addition to the garage.”

Rea said the owners weren’t present at the time and there were no injuries.

Clintonville firefighters were assisted by volunteers from Emlenton, Marion Township and Pine Township.

Firefighters cleared the scene at 4 p.m.
