Another new patrolman has joined the Franklin police force.

Sean Floor is from Port Jervis, New York, and he graduated from high school there in 2008.

He went on to attend Gannon University in Erie, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice in 2013. He completed a police internship with the City of Erie in 2012.

He participated in the wrestling program at Gannon and still volunteers there as an assistant coach.

After college, Floor attended the Mercyhurst Police Academy and graduated from there in December.

Floor is the second police officer hired in a month’s time. Jacob Young was sworn in Jan. 2 as a Franklin patrolman.
