Franklin to hold Light-Up Night

Franklin will hold its annual holiday Light-Up Night on Saturday, Nov. 20.

The event features a parade, fireworks, music, and more.

The Christmas Tree Extravaganza will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. with carolers and holiday treats at the Barrow-Civic Theatre lobby.

A pre-parade show will begin at 4:45 p.m. in front of Franklin’s Fountain Park, featuring the Franklin High School Madrigal Chorus, Nathaniel Licht, Rachael Mellor, and Anna Lehnortt.

The parade will begin at 6 p.m. at the intersection of 13th and Liberty streets and end near the intersection of 11th and Liberty streets.

The parade will be followed by the lighting of the community tree located in front of the Venango County Courthouse and a holiday fireworks show.
