Oil City Arts Council offers free pictures with Santa

From staff reports

The Oil City Arts Council will hold “Pictures with Santa,” a free event in the Great Room of the National Transit Building at 206 Seneca St. in downtown Oil City, from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and again on Dec. 17.

The idea came from Kate Miller, secretary of the Oil City Arts Council board of directors.

As a mother of small children, she noticed limited options in the area for parents to have pictures of their children taken with Santa, especially at an affordable price.

Miller worked with other volunteers and Oil City Arts Council representatives to coordinate the photo sessions in the Great Room, chosen in part because of a fireplace located in the space.

Photos will be digital only and emailed to the family, who can have them printed at the location of their choice.
