Mercer state police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating Jeremiah Kloos, 21, of Grove City. Kloos is wanted for a violent domestic assault, during which he is accused of crashing a vehicle and fleeing the scene.
Kloos is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police said they investigated a domestic assault in the Grove City area on Monday, during which Kloos is believed to have struck a female victim several times, strangled her and forced her into his vehicle.
Police said the victim’s feet were run over as she attempted to flee.
Kloos crashed the vehicle while struggling with the victim and fled the scene prior to troopers’ arrival, police said.
Kloos is charged with kidnapping, strangulation, aggravated assault, robbery, unlawful restraint, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and accidents involving damage to attended vehicle or property.
