FHS headed to full in-person Monday

From staff reports

Franklin High School students will return to 100 percent in-person instruction beginning Monday.

The district had anticipated moving to full face-to-face instruction March 1, but officials announced Tuesday that because Venango County has officially been moved to a “moderate” level of community transmission by the state, it will push forward with its plans a week early.

High school students will continue to operate on an A/B hybrid schedule the rest of this week.

Franklin had already attempted a full return to school at the high school twice since late January, but plans were waylaid by small COVID-19 outbreaks.

All elementary students have been learning in-person since late January and will continue to do so.
