Franklin
Franklin city workers will pick up leaves next week in the following areas:
Monday – Gurney Road side of Franklin Heights
Wednesday – both sides of Railroad Street, New Street and West Park Street; even side of South Park Street; and Gurney Road side of Franklin Heights
Thursday – even side of the 1000 block of Chestnut Street, 10th, Eighth and Sixth streets; odd side of Ninth, Seventh and Fifth streets; odd side of Ninth, Seventh and Fifth streets; both sides of the 600 block of Egbert Street
Friday – odd side of the 1000 block of Chestnut Street, 10th, Eighth and Sixth streets; even side of Ninth, Seventh and Fifth streets; and both sides of Third and Second streets
Bagged leaves will be picked up throughout the city on Monday and Friday.
Residents are asked to rake their leaves to the edge of their front lawns, not on the street, for pickup by the city crews.
Oil City
The leaf collection schedule for Oil City next week is as follows:
Monday – Wyllis (West Front to West First), West First, West Front, West Second (all sections)
Tuesday – Reed, North, Orchard, Hickory, Abbott, Darr, Filson, Mineral, Moran
Thursday – Central, West Third, Wyllis (West First to West 7th), Smedley, Cowell, Drake, Petroleum, Beech
Friday – Innis, Orange, Division (West Front to West Third), Bouquin, Mitchell, West 7th, Mayer, Lincoln
All cars must be off the posted streets by 7:30 a.m. Cars that are not moved will be ticketed and possibly towed.
Leaves should be raked or blown to the curb and not into the street.
