Oil City Main Street to hold annual meeting, reception

From staff reports

The Oil City Main Street Program will hold its annual Mingle and Meeting from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 13, at 228 Seneca St. next to the Graffiti Gallery.

The event is a networking opportunity with a short program recognizing committee members, projects and new businesses.

The program will also feature recent highlights and a look at what’s ahead for Oil City’s downtown, according to a news release from the Main Street Program.

“This is a come as you are meeting after work, meet some other business owners, tour spaces that are available to rent and win some great advertising packages,” said Main Street manager Stevette Rosen.

She added that $1,000 in advertising will be given to area businesses.

“It’s a great opportunity to learn what the Oil City Main Street Program is all about. There are many downtown business owners I have yet to meet, and I hope you will attend,” Rosen said.

The event is open to all downtown businesses, property owners, community leaders, persons interested in opening a business in Oil City and anyone who wants to learn more about Main Street’s projects and activities.

There is no cost to attend, but RSVPs are encouraged.
