The City of Franklin street department will sweep streets next week in the following areas:
Monday – Third shift: Odd side of Elk from 11th to First; First shift: Washington Crossing bridge area.
Tuesday – Third shift: even side of Liberty from Sixth to 11th; odd side of Buffalo from 11th to First; and odd side of Fourth; First shift: Washington Crossing bridge area.
Thursday – Third shift: even side of Elk from 11th to First; First shift: 15th Street hill area.
Friday – Third shift: even side of Elk from 15th to 11th and odd side of Buffalo from 11th to 15th; First shift: Greentree areas – Franklin Heights.
Residents should call the city garage at (814) 437-1600 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. on weekdays to give the location of the piles that need to be picked up.
