OC Arts Council ‘Fam Jam’ scheduled Saturday

The Oil City Arts Council’s annual FAM JAM will take place from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Central Avenue Plaza.

The free, family oriented event will showcase local artists and live music and will host food trucks and a brewery truck.

Artists will be speaking and demonstrating their creative processes, and the Oil City Plein Air group will also be set up around the plaza and painting.

Two bands are scheduled with McKenzie Sprague of Optimistic Apocalypse from 2 to 4:30 p.m. and The Sickness from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Background music will be provided during the intermission and set-up time.
