The Venango County Zombie Fest will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16, at The Franklin. Those who attend will be asked to provide a non-perishable item to be given to Skye’s Spirit Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Ideas on what items are needed can be found online at www.skyes-spirit.com. Registration will start at 4 p.m. with a “Zombie Walk” down Elk Street and back up Liberty Street beginning promptly at 5 p.m. There will be costume contests, basket drawings, refreshments and music.
