The Petroleum History Institute, Friends of Drake Well, and Drake Well Museum and Park will honor Paul D. Adomites, Carl C. Heinrich and Wayne S. Leeper with a tree dedication ceremony on Arbor Day, April 24, recognizing their lasting contributions to the oil and gas industry. The public event will feature native trees planted in their memory and celebrate their impacts as a writer and historian, industry leader, and geologist, respectively, as well as their shared commitment to preserving the region’s petroleum history.
