New Castle man sentenced for drug trafficking

A New Castle man, Jauan Searcy, was sentenced to 80 months in federal prison and six years of supervised release after pleading guilty to drug trafficking and firearm charges tied to a Detroit–New Castle operation. Authorities said he sold fentanyl, heroin and cocaine locally and was found with a shotgun despite a prior felony conviction.
