Blayne Baker took his oath of office as a Franklin police officer during a ceremony Wednesday at City Hall in front of Baker’s family, city police officers and City Hall staff. His was given the oath by Franklin Mayor Douglas Baker, who also served the city as a police officer for many years before taking on the role of mayor.
