Franklin Mayor Doug Baker swears in Victor Suarez, the city’s newest police officer, during a ceremony at City Hall on Wednesday, 45 years to the day from when Baker had been sworn into service with the city police department. Suarez, who is from California, brings the number of police officers in Franklin to 16. He was congratulated by Baker, Police Chief Aaron Campbell, City Manager James Wetzel, other city staff members and his family.
