A water line break early Tuesday morning in Oil City caused a few residents to notice a disruption in service.
Jason Herman, director of the city’s water department, said the break originated between 3 and 4 a.m. across from Venango Campus on West First Street.
Herman said a few customers would have lost water pressure when the break occurred. A partial fix to the line was done at about 5 to 6 a.m., which should have stopped any water pressure loss customers were experiencing, Herman said.
The line was fully fixed by 9 a.m., according to Herman.
“As far as water breaks go, knock on wood, I’ve seen worse,” Herman said.
