The Barrow-Civic Theatre opens its first-ever all-youth main stage production, “Frozen JR,” tonight, featuring students in grades five through 10 performing and running lights, sound, and crew, with older teens assisting as choreographers and directors. Although the Barrow has a youth theatre program, this show is part of the main stage season and matches its usual production quality in sets and costumes. It’s also the theater’s first Disney JR. show, following three sold-out school performances on Thursday. Public showtimes include tonight at 7:30 p.m., two shows Saturday, and a Sunday matinee, under the direction of Abby Preston with music directed by Deanna Wolfgong.
