The Clarion-Limestone High School academic decathlon team captured the first-place trophy for small schools in the state academic decathlon competition in Hershey. The team will now travel to the national event in Garden Grove, California. Team members are (front, from left) Kiya Defranco, Emily Mecusker, Verle Pavlock, Gracella Sappe, Lily Spratt, (back, from left) Drake Edmonds, Parker Palmer, Dalen Geist, Nickolas Gross, Dylan Haight, Lukas Klugh and Kaleb Walker. The team’s coaches are Jesse Alden and Caitlin Stouffer. The team is seeking donations for travel, food and lodging for the California trip.
