Independence Health System Clarion Hospital has celebrated a 20-year milestone in echocardiography accreditation through the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Clarion Hospital, first accredited in 2005, is one of 77 facilities recognized this year for two decades of continuous accreditation. The IAC’s milestone recognition program, launched in 2023, honors facilities at the 10-, 20-, and 25-year marks. To maintain accreditation, facilities must complete a rigorous review process every three years, involving evaluations by medical experts of both operational practices and technical performance, including case studies and final reports.
