PennWest Clarion welcomed more than 1,500 freshmen on move-in day Friday, with students arriving from 33 states and 15 countries. Families shared bittersweet moments as daughters Cierra George and Isabella Murrieta settled into dorms, one beginning a medical imaging major and the other joining on a softball scholarship. Students and their families enjoyed lunch at Eagle Commons, met peer mentors, and capped the day with a Clarion tradition—“WINGO,” a lively night of wings and bingo that kicked off the Class of 2028’s journey.
