Fundraiser to be held for teen fighting cancer

A pasta dinner fundraiser for a local teen who has been diagnosed with a rare bone cancer will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Franklin Elks Club.

Austin Wallace, 15, has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma. He is undergoing treatment at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

The cost for Saturday’s fundraiser is $10 for adults and $5 for seniors and children under six. Payment will be taken at the door.

Take out orders will also be available.

Activities will include a Chinese auction and 50/50 raffle.
