Good Hope to provide Thanksgiving meals

Good Hope Lutheran Church will deliver full Thanksgiving meals to the elderly, shut-in and homebound members of the community on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27.

The meal and delivery are free. The meal will include turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, vegetable and a slice of pie.

The meal is funded by local grants and by support from community groups and individual community members.

Anyone who would like to support the meal by any means (monetary or volunteering) should contact Director of Community Ministries Joyce Frenz, at 724-699-0861.

To order a meal for yourself or for any elderly, homebound, or shut-in community member, please contact the Good Hope Lutheran Church, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at 814-676-9122 by Sunday, Nov. 23. There is a limit of 8 meals per household.
