Angela Brown, a 1999 Keystone High School alumna, will serve as the commencement speaker at the school’s May 29 graduation. A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing and Walden University, Brown is the director of cardiovascular transplant and mechanical circulatory support at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. She has played a key role in connecting Keystone students with real-world medical experiences through an open heart surgery observation program. With extensive leadership experience in both the U.S. and Italy, she holds board certification as a nurse executive and serves on several professional nursing boards. Brown, who lives in Creekside, is also a strong advocate for rural health care and actively supports her daughters’ extracurricular activities.
