Main Street Program celebrates community spirit at annual meeting & mixer

The Oil City Main Street Program held its annual meeting and mixer on May 19 at the Oil Region Venango Campus, celebrating a year of community progress and volunteerism. The event highlighted updates on ongoing projects, future plans, and honored key contributors with awards. Barr’s Insurance was named Business Volunteer of the Year for its longstanding community involvement and event participation. Maureen James and Kevin Frawley were named Ms. and Mr. Main Street for their leadership and dedication, while Austin Billingsley and Tyler Marczek received Youth Volunteer of the Year honors for their weekly efforts in community cleanups. In 2024, OCMS volunteers donated thousands of hours, valued at over \$82,000.
