National Heritage Area plan draft released

A draft of the strategic plan for the Oil Region National Heritage Area is now available for review prior to a public input ZOOM meeting that is schedule at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

The Oil Region Alliance, manager of the Oil Region National Heritage Area, contracted with consulting firm The Walker Collaborative to develop a plan that will steer the organization and the ORNHA for the next several years.

The plan can be viewed at OilRegion.org by clicking the “ORNHA Strategic Plan Draft” button under the image of the cross-country skiers.

The document includes a history of the ORNHA’s operations, vision, mission, areas of focus, current issues and opportunities, and a breakdown of the implementation’s priorities, budget and schedule.

Information is also given on the methodology of the study and results of the October public opinion survey.
