Nominees Sought for Venango County Conservation Hall of Fame

Nominations are now being accepted for 2021 induction into the Venango County Conservation Hall of Fame, a program of the Oil City Chapter, Izaak Walton League of America in partnership with Venango College.

The program honors men and women who have made significant and lasting contributions to conservation and the environment.

The intent is to not only honor these men and women but to ensure they and their work are remembered and serves to inspire future generations.

Nominees must be Venango County natives or have lived or worked in Venango County. Nominations should include as much biographical and supporting information as possible.

Once nominated, an individual remains in the candidate pool for consideration in future years.

Nominations should be mailed to CHOF, Oil City Chapter IWLA, P.O. Box 551, Seneca, 16346.

The Conservation Hall of Fame was created in 2011 and is housed in Rhoades Hall at Venango Campus.
