PennWest ROTC students salutes the Clarion community he serves

Jacob Kline, a recent graduate of PennWest Clarion’s nursing program and a dedicated ROTC cadet, balanced his academic and military responsibilities while actively serving the Clarion community as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. Embraced by the local fire department as a freshman, he found mentorship, support, and a sense of family that guided him through personal and academic challenges. Inspired by both his grandfather’s military service and a high school teacher’s encouragement to pursue nursing, Kline chose Clarion for its small class sizes and supportive environment. His commitment led him to additional training at West Point and in Hawaii, where he gained hands-on experience as an Army nurse. Upon passing the NCLEX, he will begin his military service as a medical/surgical nurse, with his future beyond the Army still open.
