Police investigate ‘serious incident’ in Clarion

At around 1 p.m., Wednesday the state police forensic services unit and reconstruction unit parked in the parking lot behind H&R Block building, along with a Clarion Borough police vehicle. Several officers were seen in the vicinity. According to a press release from Clarion State police Wednesday, they and the Clarion Borough police are investigating a "serious incident."

Clarion State Police and Clarion Borough Police are investigating a serious incident that occurred around the 300 block of Main Street in Clarion. Police and forensic units were seen near the H&R Block building Tuesday afternoon. Authorities said there’s no immediate threat to the public but noted an increased police presence in the area. As of Wednesday afternoon, no further details or updates had been released.
