Repairs underway to portions of I-79, I-80 in Mercer County

A $3.2 million federally funded project to repair sections of Interstates 79 and 80 in Mercer County resumed this week, covering 26 miles on I-79 and nine miles on I-80 with work including paving, patching, and bridge repairs. The project, handled by Glenn O. Hawbaker, is expected to finish in August, weather permitting, and will involve lane restrictions and potential travel delays during construction.
