Masses at St. Patrick Parish in Franklin have been canceled until further notice while Msgr. John Herbein, the parish pastor, awaits the results of a COVID-19 test.
A press release issued Tuesday by the Erie Catholic Diocese said the cancellations include daily and weekend Masses as well as the New Year’s Day Mass for the Solemnity of Mary.
Herbein, who is quarantining, expects to have his results by Friday, and he will determine at that time if he can offer Masses in public this weekend, the diocese said.
