Clarion wrapped up its final Summer Fest of the season this weekend with a celebration of “The Arts.” Highlights included a live painting demo by artist-in-residence Chloe Boden at “Street Chalk on Main” and a vibrant Glassblower’s Village in Veterans Memorial Park. Kids enjoyed the “BIG Marble Hunt,” where 27 hidden wooden nickels led to hand-blown marble prizes donated by talented regional glass artists. Visitors also had the chance to tour the Clarion Historical Society’s exhibit of master glassblower Dominick Labino’s work. The day was packed with activity—5K runs, yoga, live music, a bustling KidZone, food trucks, and vendors filled Main Street. Summer Fest director Nancy Hanna praised the strong community support across the three monthly events, emphasizing the importance of showing up. Looking to the future, she encouraged volunteers and potential sponsors to get involved to help the festival grow. The event was produced by “Local Clarion County” with support from a dedicated board of volunteers.
